Welcome to our rustic “Swedish timber cottage” with room for 2 persons and a maximum of 4.

We are located on the north side of the Indalsälven river with nice fishing and embedded in the beautiful forest covered hills of the Ragunda Valley. A sunny location all year around with nice hiking, lots of sightseeings and on walking distance from Bispgården village for supermarket, postal service, ATM, gasoline and pizzeria’s.

This cosy Swedish timber cottage is traditionally built from timberlogs. Painted in Swedish Falu red and about 225 years old. It is located in the hills above the village of Bispgården and only 15 minutes away from Wilderness Adventures Sweden at the Shovelhead Ranch. 

With direct access to endless forests with numerous hiking opportunities and mountain biking. In autumn you are here in mushroom and berry picking paradise (blue berries and lingon berries).
In the winter the cross country ski prepared trails are less than 1 km away with tracks as long as 3-8 km and even lit during the evenings. From the house there is a beautiful view over the Ragunda Valley to enjoy. The snowmobile trails connect directly from the property. For downhill skiing it is a 5 min drive to Bispfors Ski, 20 minutes to Kullsta Ski Hammarstrand and 45 minutes to Hallsta Ski Sollefteå.

The cottage is for rent year around and is suitable for two persons. But we do offer a comfortable, foldable extra bed for one or two extra guests. Parking area for your car (and trailer) is directly at the cottage.
There is a fully equipped living-dining kitchen with rustic elements. It holds a gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, watercooker and fridge/freezer.

In the cosy living room you can fire up the wood stove and chill in the sofa. It has chairs and a flat TV screen and there is an Apple tv box.

Also downstairs is the in 2020 newly renovated bathroom with shower, toilet and a laundry machine.

Over the entire upper floor and under the beamed roof is one large open sleeping loft. Here is your comfortable double bed (160 x 200 cm) with a high standard matrass + memoryfoam top and fine bedlinen, all you need for just to dream away.  If you want to bring one or two persons extra then there is a comfortable, foldable extra bed.

The house is heated by mountain heating and electricity is included in the price. There is grassfield around the house and a campfire spot. Your dog(s) is welcome and a food and water bowl are provided. Note: it is by law that your dog is not allowed to run free in the forrests (read why at booking & terms). We do have a long outside line for your dog that is attached to the cottage.

• Rental of the cottage is per week from Saturday – Saturday. If you want to stay longer like 10 days or 14 days or even one month, that is possible and please contact us for information and availability
• Inclusive bed linen+ kitchen linen for 2 persons, free laundry and access to WiFi
• The final cleaning is SEK 600
• Check in-check out: 4 pm-11 am. The price is based on 2 persons. Contact us when you want to come with your family, so we offer a special price
• Our summer high season is: Juli + August,
• Our winter high season is: Christmas week, January + Februari + March.
• Low season spring, summer, autumn and winter: price per week (7 nights) is SEK 6.500

• High season summer and winter: price per week (7 nights) is SEK 7.500
  

For those who want to be active, we offer a Spring-Summer Adventure Week Package and a Winter Adventure Week Package 2023.

The adventure activities will start from the Ranch of Wilderness Adventures Sweden (15 minutes by car).
You can book one or a few outdoor activities, or you explore on your own.
