Welcome to our RV ground/ Nature camping which is embedded in the forests and hills of the Ragunda Valley.
We Open on the first of June and Close at 30th of September.
Our Camper spots are specious and we can park 10 campers and also tents and caravans.
2 Area electricity spots for your connection to electricity if you wish for.
You can stay here for a 150 SEK per night on basis of 2 persons. For the stay of every other extra person, we ask 25 SEK extra. Electricity is an additional 25 SEK per night.
You have free access to; WiFi, restroom, shower, a small kitchen and picnic with campfire area. If needed you can dispose your garbage, the latrine and fill up with 25 liter of our own well with fresh mountain water.
All is build in a simple but rustic setting and daily cleaned. There is an info corner and nice hiking trails starts from the camping.
Our homestead is next to the RV ground and you will meet us frequently while doing the grass, cleaning, welcome new travelers and often with a cup of coffee in the hand. Also you will meet the horses Bette, Cody and Mr. Utah and our dog Jack and sometimes little Chevy our cat comes to say hello.
The horses go on the backside of the camping towards their pastures to eat grass and you can view them from your spot.The whole area is build in a rustic western style atmosphere and is part of the Shovelhead Ranch. Here are the horse stables, a riding arena with roundpen, a sherrifs place and all with old style wooden fences and a big USA porch. All is build in 2019-2020 and with great help from family and friends.
Monique gives seminars about horses and communication problems and is a retailer and bit specialist of her other company “MylerbitSweden”.

You can book our moose safari tour during the evenings (minumum of 3-4 guests)
You want to do book one of our summer adventures? That we are happy to arrange.
Often we invite guests at the American style Big Moose Grillhut. We make an anouncement when you are welcome to join in. Here you can sit around a campfire with a coffee or a bear or do some grilling. We make the fire and you bring your own is the deal.
p.s. Do not feed the horses!
Horse riding is only for adults and you must have riding experience since the horses are not dull! Riding is at your own risk. Ridinghelmet, long jeans and sturdy shoes or boots is a must. We ride with western saddles and tack and the horses are well western trained.
Monique also offers riding lessons to learn some of the basics of western riding.
You don’t need to make reservationas to stay at the RV ground/ Nature camping but in the high season month of July it might be wise to do so.
