Welcome to our rustic “wildlife” theme holiday apartment with room for 2-4 people. We are located on the south side of the Indalsälven river with nice fishing and the property is embedded in the beautiful forest covered hills of the Ragunda Valley. Here you enjoy no traffic sounds and we are in tranquillity of nature. A sunny location all year around with nice hiking, lots of sightseeings and only 8 km from Bispgården village for supermarket, post office, ATM, gasoline and pizzeria’s.

The cross-country and snowmobile trail goes directly from our property. For downhill skiing it is a 10 min drive to Bispfors Ski, 20 minutes to Kullsta Ski Hammarstrand or 45 minutes to Hallsta Ski Sollefteå.

The holiday apartment is situated at the complete first floor of our homestead at the Shovelhead Ranch. 
The main room has a comfortable and spacious living area with a dining table, sofa and seats, a computer corner and it has a build in master bedroom. The Queensize bed is 180 x 210 cm and comes with a high class comfortable matrass + top and fine bed linen for you just to dream away.

Connected to this main room is your own privat terrace (5 x 7 m2). In spring, summer and autumn you can chill-out in the loungeset and enjoy the lovely views over our forest covered hills and the little valley where the horses can be seen. In the autumn-winter and early spring is the best chance to gaze at the amazing Artic nature wonder so called Norhtern Lights. Imagine this from your own apartments terrace. There is a BBQ available.

The apartment has a fully equipped cosy kitchen where you will find a coffee machine, watercooker, fridge/freezer, induction cooking and a oven.

The 2nd bedroom has a pull-out comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, it is equipped with quality mattresses and fine bed linen. There is a dining table and seating area in a rustic atmosphere. You have an unobstructed view of the woods at the front of the house.

There is also a unique small bedroom on the backside of the kitchen, loved by children and adults. With a little stair to climb and you have your own cosy little hide-out. The bed is 90 x 200 cm.

We have free WiFi, it is non-smoking and because of our own dog and cat, no other animals are allowed.
Here is no trafic, just the sound and smells of nature, you drink water and shower from our own water well and the house is central heated with firewood. We offer no television and that is for a reason. We believe that especially here, you are more connected with yourself, to our nature and your surroundings.

As our guest you are welcome to sit around a campfire at the Big Moose Grillhut or a grill. Here we organize activities such as “outdoor cooking” and BBQs and fun western games such as a competition air rifle shooting and horseshoe throwing.

The apartment is decorated with personal collector items as Sami paintings, sheepskins, reindeer skins, moose antlers, old school posters, candles and books. Therefore it is not really suitable for small children. Ofcourse we are open for a discussion. 

• Rental of the appartment is per week from Saturday – Saturday. If you want to stay longer like 10 days or 14 days, that is possible and please contact us for the availability.
• Inclusive fine bed linen+ kitchen linen for 2 persons and free laundry 
• The final cleaning is 600 SEK.
• Check in-check out: 4 pm-11 am.
• Your own parking space. 
• Because of our own dog Jack and Chevy the cat, we can not allow dog(s) in the apartment. Would you really like to bring your own dog(s), please look at the Swedish Timber Cottage. There you can bring your own dog(s).

 

The price is based on 2 persons. When you want to book for your family we offer a family price. Contact us for more info.
Our summer high season is: Juli, August, September
Our winter high season is: Christmas week, January, Februari and March.

• Low season spring, summer, autumn and winter:
  price per week (7 nights) is SEK 6.500
• High season summer and winter: price per week (7 nights) is SEK 7.500
